Boulder Library's BLDG 61 Makerspace is a permanent 1500 sq/ft high tech fabrication lab where community members can use laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC routers, sewing machines, a full electronics bench and more, all for free. In addition to being nationally recognized for it's contributions to libraries and education, BLDG 61 has helped over 60 small companies bootstrap forward with no consulting costs, IP contracts or tech transfer fees. They will tell the story of piloting pipeline programs with Boulder's award-winning Small Business Development Center to give startups an extra resource for local, free range, home grown product development.
