For those who want to go deeper and get truly embedded in the educational mission of CU Boulder, this session is for you. This panel highlights the many facets of the growing symbiotic relationship between the Boulder startup community and the University of Colorado. Through a lively conversation among university representatives and community collaborators, explore how existing partnerships leverage the strengths of both academia and the startup community to create mutually beneficial outcomes. Discover how you can take advantage of these unique campus opportunities and embed yourself in the campus ecosystem.

From project sponsorship to co-teaching, deep-rooted collaborations with the university allow entrepreneurs to give back, inspiring budding student entrepreneurs and imparting hard-earned wisdom, while growing their network with various on-campus experts. Students get to learn from people who have been in the trenches, tapping into practitioner expertise and gaining valuable insight into the successes and failures of more experienced entrepreneurs. The university finds that working with the startup community provides diverse educational experiences, allowing students to exercise their classroom learning in realistic applications while validating their ideas, learning professional skills, and gaining real-world experiences.
