The world is getting smaller with cultures overlapping more, trends becoming global, and business knowing no borders. The opportunity for brands to expand globally is greater than ever, but with great opportunity, comes great challenges.

For zingfit, a leading software platform in the boutique fitness industry, their rapid growth in the last few years has been exciting, daunting and rewarding. Scaling the SaaS solution for international markets, to ensure effective delivery of the software is just the beginning. Then there are the considerations around e-commerce and payment processing in certain countries, the logistics of supporting multiple timezones, the cultural barriers and differences and most importantly delivering customer success. Patrick Armitage, VP of Sales and Marketing at zingfit, has learned a lot along the way. In this insightful community discussion Patrick will share what it has taken for zingfit to expand into 28 countries, sometimes against the advice of others, and provide his thoughts on a roadmap for how brands can scale internationally.

While this discussion is capped at 12 people, feel free to come by if you are on the waitlist to take the place of anyone who registered but isn’t able to make it.

***This roundtable discussion is part of the Basecamp Spotlight Series and corresponds to the Friday “Full Scale Ahead” theme for Basecamp. Please be sure to check out all of the Basecamp Spotlight discussions throughout Boulder Startup Week and take advantage of these intimate conversations with community leaders in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Basecamp.***
