In the past 10 years, Sharon and the Boulder SBDC have worked with over 3,500 Boulder County businesses -- to help established businesses grow and new ventures launch.  The SBDC is a non-profit economic development organization providing support through workshops, specialized business consulting and connection to resources, including financing.  Just in 2012, the Center worked directly with 600 businesses, providing 1,600 consulting hours and produced 85 programs for over 1.400 attendees.  Those businesses created and retained over 400 jobs, infused over $10.3 million in capital and reported sales increases of $5.3 million and contract awards over $9.2 million.
